After 2 years of having the Tt eSports Poseidon Z keyboard it keys are starting to rapidly fail. This is the second time I’ve had to repair this keyboard, so overall I’m going to say to stay away from this keyboard and Kailh switches.
Just thought I would make this brief review and repair video on the Poseidon Z.

Had two of this exact same keyboard. They are amazing for the first year, but they both started having double-input problems after year 2.
I bought the second one thinking the first one failing was just bad luck, but no, they all seem to fail after 2 years.
FYI – This Keyboard has a 5-year warranty, First bought in 2014, RMAed in 2018. I began having the same problem again about 2.5 years after my replacement.
ABS keycaps is the reason why it wear down and shine. ABS is the problem
What's the tool's name that you used to remove soldered key?
استعمل ملقط سهل كلش
卡子在上下不在两遍.
Cold joint soldering on those keyboards, it's probably not the switches.
Mine has lasted over 4 years. My H key is chattering now. I am trying to find a replacement switch but I can't find either a kailh or a cherry switch that has the rgb light integrated into it.
Do not buy Tt Poseidon Z it is a crap my R key is not working and I have spend another 80$ for a new KB. The service is bad no phone number.
i spilled a latte on mine, and the space bar dont work, i replaced the switch with the "end" button switch, and still not working
Will the keyboard still work if you remove the led and don't put it back in?
had 3 dead keys on mine after a beer spill, popped off the caps, depressed each and sprayed a bit of contact cleaner, tapped them a few seconds and all work again like new. not saying it's foolproof but worth trying before reaching for the soldering iron
I'm going to replace around 30+ Kailh Brown switches with Cherry MX Browns on my Poseidon Z. Got it in 2015 because it was beautiful, cheap and with nice blue backlight. Switches became double-clicky half a year after, so I removed it from desktop and got Logitech K280e. But few months ago I decided to buy mechanical keyboard again. I can afford a new keyboard, but I remembered my Poseidon Z which I liked, and if I can fix it for $14 or $50 if I decide to replace all switches with Cherry ones – why not. Also getting some soldering experience is not bad :p
Much thanks for the video, it will help me a lot 🙂
Its well CARed for
Very good video -Hackingurmom123
Do you know how to follow the circuit if you burn of the solder pad?
As usual – interesting video, well presented.
